Girls Are Louth F.A.I Soccer Champions

On Wednesday 9th March, our Girls Soccer Team travelled to Oriel Park Dundalk as they had reached the last four from the previous rounds of the Louth FAI 5-aside Competition. The opposition on the day, in a round robin basis, were Termonfeckin N.S, Redeemder Girls N.S and Scoil Eoin Baiste. Our Girls performed excellently, comfortably winning all three games, racking up a total of seventeen goals along the way, while conceding none. This was a tremendous achievement and for the first time in our school’s history our Girls will go forward to represent Louth in the North Leinster Finals, which will take place in Navan on the 21st April.

Well done to Molly Woods, Naomi McShane, Kate Hanlon, Liadan Clynch (c), Evelyn Donnelly, Caoimhe McBride, CLodagh O’Shaughnessy and Anna Carroll. Our school is very proud of what you have achieved, congratulations.
